SAFETY !

IN SPLASH MERMAID TAILS! SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY, HAVE FUN AND KEEP DREAMING BUT NEVER,NEVER FORGET THAT SAFETY COMES FIRST!!

Although SPLASH MERMAID TAILS is happy to bring happiness and imagination to all of your girls,   SAFETY IS FIRST!!  So please go through all of our safety overview with your child and make sure she or he understands it.

We know your child has been dreaming for one of our MERMAID TAILS. For a birthday, for Christmas, for a dream Vacation, for a cruise through out the Caribbean, or for a nice trip to Cancun!

We all know how exited they are when they get it, We know they are exited to wear it and to swim with it!

We want you to make sure to go through out all of this information, before they wear their amazing MERMAID TAIL.

We know you have seen many, many videos of people or girls in YouTube or any other social media swimming in deep water, SPLASH MERMAID TAILS want you to know that most of those videos are either  from professional MERMAIDS that spend a lot of time practicing how to hold their breath or by and adult supervision.

We want you to dream, to imagine, to pretend, but never, never forget that SAFETY COMES FIRST. Even if you are a very good swimmer humans are not made to swim with their legs together, so do not swim in deeper water than you! We want you to enjoy your MERMAID TAIL but it is really important to make sure that if you are tired of swimming you can stand up, relax and then keep dreaming and swimming. So DON’T SWIM IN DEEPER WATER!

We encourage our little mermaids to follow our Guide to Swimming Like a Mermaid. If a child can not yet swim underwater confidently by themselves, then they are not ready to swim with a mermaid tail. Our mermaid tails are designed for experienced swimmers only. Adult supervision is required for every and all mermaid adventure. Remember that even through kids tend to pick up “mermaiding” very easily, an adult should always be nearby for safety.

Never leave children alone in or near the pool or spa, even for a moment. A lifeguard (or another adult who knows about water rescue) needs to be watching children whenever they are in or near the water. Younger children should be closely supervised while in or near the water – use “touch supervision,” keeping no more than an arm’s length away.

Never swim alone. Even good swimmers need buddies!

Avoid entrapment: Suction from pool and spa drains can trap a swimmer underwater. Do not use in any pool or spa with any suction function.

Avoid inflatable swimming aids such as “floaties.” They are not a substitute for approved life vests and can give children and parents a false sense of security

. Ocean swimming should only be allowed when a lifeguard is on duty. DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD swim in the ocean with your mermaid tail without an adult supervision.

ALWAYS HAVE AN ADULT SUPERVISION!

RESPECT THE WATER! SPECIALLY IF YOU ARE AT A BEACH!

DO NOT USED IN WAVES POOLS.

NEVER!! NEVER!! WEAR YOUR MERMAID TAIL IN DEEPER WATER THAN YOU ARE!

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AGE TO WEAR A MONOFIN!

PRACTICE THE DOLPHIN OR BUTTERFLY KICK!  JUST WITH THE MONOFIN!

GET FAMILIAR WITH YOUR MONOFIN, THEN WEAR YOUR MERMAID TAIL WITH IT!
